I wish the internet was like this again ngl.

This has to be the most impressive thing Emily made as a teenager, and for good reasons.
I think she put her dedication and her heart in to such a ambitious project for her age and she knew in her words that everyone can relate to DID in this cartoon, and such isolation people feel in abasement way, in such, I can relate to this a lot, just because I been in my room just doing nothing, then making art. Being social out of the surface world, means you are social online, and Emily was like this as kid, and she had a bad childhood, and Alfred is portrayed in this cartoon as Emily herself, she didn't crave affection or any parental figures in her life, just because she was isolated as a child. I really love how she used Beethoven as the music, it really gives a beautiful and ambitious charm, that gets me, gives out a really crisp and smooth transition in the animation, I really like the early charm of the very bad audio; it really gives me the chills and it makes the animation have lustrous and clean, simple plot that is relatable, plus it has a very isolated and a nostalgic newgrounds vibe. I don't think people with DID have a alt character, but I think they can have a isolated mental state, and for many reasons, I can see why this is Emily's most infamous works of 2007, she was around 16-17 when she made this, making this pretty impressive for her age. And we can't forgot about dictator references, the part where it showed Hitler whacking off too bagels is pretty surreal, while some crazy shit is happening in the background, and dictator pickles acting like Hitler is pretty funny, and comical. And the portrayed of a dictator wanting attention and affection, is pretty accurate; but not all dictators are like this. I think in conclusion, this flash cartoon gets a solid 9/10, the animation is fluid and it has a very surreal animation charm to it, the sounds are very crisp and janky, but that's the charm of the late 2000s animation, the plot has very accurate portray of a dictator and how they want affection. This has to be a certified hood classic.

This cartoon is pretty interesting for it's time, not being that it's bad and unconsented. But it was impressive for it's time, like 2000... you couldn't do shit back then and audacity was made in May 28, 2000, this cartoon was made on April 9th, until 1 month later, audacity would be released, I'm super curious and intrigued what program they used to record with. it's been over 24 years since this cartoon has been made, the laughing was pretty bad and terribly edited, but it sits out the charm of making a cartoon in the late 90s and 2000s, this cartoon is really loud junk, but in a good way. Do i still enjoy the classic and nostalgic feel of old newgrounds games and flash animations, maybe, but I don't really generalized with it entirely. The cartoon feels like it's average dark edgy animation, but really in retrospective, it's just a parody/satire of south park it's self. He made this cartoon when he was 22-23 years old, it's not that bad for a guy in his early 20s, but this was 2000s, so don't take a bad look on this cartoon. He could've done better, but you really couldn't do anything in 2000 with adobe animate, SWF or something, so yeah. But again this cartoon has a really funny and hysterical bad charm, I really like it.

a classic :)
it might've not aged well for some people,
but i still think its wholesome.
